Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

COVID-19 cancellation

Dear valued patient,

As we continue to monitor the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic, and navigate through this uncertain and rapidly changing time, and in light of concerns surrounding coronavirus and in response to the latest recommendation from the White House, we are suspending all elective or non-emergent procedures for at least the next two weeks – beginning Thursday, March 19th through Sunday, April 5th.

The Massachusetts Dental Society has defined elective or non-emergent procedures as “All orthodontic procedures (including aligner therapy) that do not address infection, restore oral function or relieve pain.” Further emergent procedures are defined as “Orthodontics limited to trauma and trauma related to orthodontic appliance (wire, bracket)”. In accordance with these guidelines, if you have an appointment scheduled between Thursday, March 19th and Sunday, April 5th, we will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule. This will help us to manage the overall appointment calendar in order to best address everyone’s needs.

Our doctors are reviewing each patient’s treatment status as appointments are rescheduled to minimize the impact this delay will have on your overall treatment time.

If you have a need for an emergent procedure during this time, such as pain, injury or trauma related to an orthodontic appliance, we will be available for emergency appointments. Please call our office so we may determine the best course of action for your specific situation.

Given the fluidity of this National Crisis, we will continue to monitor the rapidly developing situation and we will provide updates as necessary on the steps we are taking to address the new developments and new recommendations from Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), The Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) as well as local and national government. We invite you to visit our website for the latest practice Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic updates.

We look forward to seeing you back in our office soon.

Sincerely, Brian R. Gaudreault, DMD

A doctor with a long-standing reputation of excellence instills confidence, as does a wall full of certifications and accolades. But does this doctor make you feel at ease? Does their staff greet you with a smile? Do they crack a joke to let you know they’re human too?

We are Open!

Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our “new” normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: Our commitment to quality care in a safe environment!
